You're invited to the 2025 KGD Annual Celebration!
As we close another growing season, come celebrate what we have harvested and cultivated together! Join us for a party with fellow Garden Resource Program members. We will share a meal highlighting Grown in Detroit produce and activities for the whole family. We'll take time to reflect on our collective accomplishments, review the Anishinaabe 13 Moons, map out our regional ecosystems of care, and connect with our neighbors. We'll also recognize community members who went above and beyond this year with a paper plate award ceremony.
Dinner will be catered by our friends at Trinosophes, highlighting Grown in Detroit produce. The meal will be vegetarian with vegan options available.
At this year’s Keep Growing Detroit Annual Celebration, we’re excited to once again have a community seed share and herb bundle table. We invite you to bring any seeds you’d like to share—vegetables, herbs, flowers, or culturally meaningful varieties—clearly labeled with the plant name and year harvested. If you have herb stalks to contribute, bring them in a bag labeled with the type of herb it is. Feel free to bring small envelopes or containers for the seeds. We will have bags available. And don’t worry if you don’t have seeds or herbs to bring; everyone is welcome to participate.
