Kido Pielack has been working in the field of urban agriculture for the last 19 years. In 2007 he graduated from the MSU Organic Farmer Training Program. In his roll at Keep Growing Detroit he has coordinated and taught classes on a wide range of topics including: beekeeping, season extension, farm planning, fruit management, and rainwater collection. He is currently KGD's Infrastructure Manager supporting programs to install structures and orchards at Detroit Farms as well as provide technical assistance and support for growers building out their farms. Kido is also Chair of the Michigan Organic Food and Farming Alliance.
