Satu-Itzel is a Seasonal Farmer at KGD, which means you can find her anywhere from helping out around the farm tending to the plants, to helping facilitate Volunteer Hours every week. She also assists in harvests for the Market and Grown In Detroit Team. With over eight years of experience directly engaging with her community through the food work that her family initiated in their neighborhood, which has expanded to collecting and disbursing donated goods to over ten local grassroots organizations, Satu-Itzel loves meeting and connecting with new people!
As a member of the Garden Resource Program, she spends her time tending to and growing her own garden in Southwest Detroit, engaging with her neighbors and playing with her two cats, Jiji and Teto.
