Join Keep Growing Detroit and the National Wildlife Federation for an evening of learning, growing, and connecting at Griffin Gardens in Northwest Detroit! Explore how native plants, pollinator habitat, and food-growing can work together to create healthier, more vibrant spaces for people and wildlife.
We’ll cover native plants and pollinators, seasonal landscaping practices, and how to prepare and overwinter your garden for the colder months. We’ll also take a garden walk through Griffin Gardens to see native plants, food-growing, and neighborhood green space in action.
Plus, participants can take home FREE native plants to start or expand their own gardens!
This event is free and open to everyone, with a special invitation and priority for Northwest Detroit residents and community gardeners. Beginners and experienced growers are welcome. Please register in advance.
