Join fellow Garden Resource Program members as we celebrate another season of growing with the Keep Growing Detroit community! Our Annual Celebration is a chance to reconnect, share stories, recognize our growers, and celebrate everything we accomplished together in 2026.

🌱 Bring Seeds to Share!
This year, we’re putting a special focus on saving and sharing seeds grown right here in our gardens. Earlier in the season, we encouraged GRP members to save marigold and calendula seeds, but we’d love for you to bring seeds from other flowers, vegetables, herbs, and culturally important crops you grew and saved, too! 

Please label all seeds with the name, variety (if known), month/year harvested, and farm/garden name and city. Bring your labeled seeds to the celebration and help us grow a community seed share that can continue making its way into Detroit-area gardens next season. The seed share table is open to anyone, whether you bring seeds or not. We share saved seeds and donated seeds. Some seeds may be older but are still viable from previous years. There are limited quantities of some seeds, and it is first come, first served.

And, of course, we’ll have some of our favorite Annual Celebration traditions, including the 2026 KGD Report, Paper Plate Awards, and great food featuring produce grown at the KGD Farm and by Grown in Detroit growers.
